.AIM File Extension

AIMMS (Advanced Integrated Multidimensional Modeling Software) model saved in a text format; contains an operations model created using the AIMMS modeling language; similar to an .AMB file, but saved as an ASCII text file instead of a binary file.

File used to open America Online's instant messaging program; "AIM" may also refer to the AOL Instant Messenger program itself; the Windows executable is named "aim.exe."
