.PWDP File Extension

Password-protected text document created by Password Pad, a text editor used for securing documents; locks the document text using a password and encrypts the contents so that the document can only be viewed by entering the password; used for saving personal information such as credit card numbers, website passwords, and diary entries.

Each Password Pad document is encrypted using the password given for that document. Therefore, the password for one file may not be the same as the password for another file.
