.SISX.DM File Extension

Application installater file downloaded from the Nokia Ovi Store, an online service for installing mobile phone software and multimedia content; contains a .SISX file but includes DRM protection (marked by the .DM extension) so that the application can be used by authorized phones.

Typically, the Nokia Ovi Store installs applications in the background without the user seeing the installer file. However, sometimes users manually download applications as SISX.DM files (or .SIS.DM files) using a Web browser. These files can be converted to normal SISX files by deleting the first four lines of text in the file and renaming the extension to ".sisx."
