Three-dimensional image format based on Apple QuickDraw 3D (QD3D) technology; may be a 3D representation of an individual object or a complete three-dimensional scene; can be viewed from different angles with QuickTime player or other supporting 3D programs.
NOTE: QuickDraw 3D is no longer developed by Apple and Mac OS X uses OpenGL for 3D rendering.
