Common? No
File Description Executable program encrypted with SafeDisc, a disc copy prevention program for Windows games and other applications; typically saved along with an .EXE file which loads the protected ICD file.

In order for a SafeDisc-encrypted program to run, the SafeDisc authenticator must verify the SafeDisc signature on the disc; after the disc has been verified the ICD file can be decrypted and run.
