.AFPLOC File Extension

Contains the location of a system that can be accessed via an Apple Filing Protocol (AFP) connection; stores the location, such as an IP address, in an XML format; provides one-click access to a server or other machine on a network.

AFPLOC files are opened by the Apple Finder, which is part of the Mac OS X operating system.
