.ATZ File Extension

Theme or skin created by Aston, a Desktop and Shell replacement for Windows 98/2000/XP/Vista; can be applied to the Windows interface to change the look and feel and add new features; should be stored in the \Aston\Themes\ directory.

ATZ files were introduced with Aston version 1.9.2. They are compressed as a .ZIP archive, which can be decompressed using a standard ZIP decompression utility.

NOTE: Aston version 2 uses the new .A2THEME extension for themes.

Contains a list of active Atomic Time Zone servers from around the world; keeps track of the current time by checking with several "atomic clocks" via the Internet.
