.CON File Extension

Source file of an application written for the Concept Application Server; allows bi-directional communication between the user and the server.

Can be accessed with a Web browser if the Concept Client (included with the Concept Server package) is installed. Concept URLs begin with "concept://" such as:
concept://my.server.com/my_application/main.con.

File used by Battlefield 1942, a World War II first-person shooter game; saved in plain text and contains configuration information for the game, including video and input control settings; often used for fine-tuning game "mods."

Common CON files include video.con, videoDefault.con, maplist.con, and maplist.con.
