.DDB File Extension

Application support file created by Pro Tools, a digital audio workstation (DAW) application; contains application support information for an audio project and uses the filename volume.ddb.

Game file used by Command & Conquer: Renegade, a third-person shooter game; saves game data such as player abilities and weapons; sometimes used by the gaming community to create custom modifications that alter gameplay and game properties.

DDB files are often named objects.ddb and are located in the \Renegade\Data\ directory.

Bitmap image formatted for a specific device driver, such as a video card driver; saved in a proprietary format defined by the video card manufacturer.

DDB files are not meant to be opened manually, though they may be viewed with a supporting third-party image editor.
