.ES File Extension

Project file created by E-Studio, a psychological experiment design tool included with the E-Prime program suite; saves the steps of a behavioral research experiment; includes setup steps as well as injected stimuli (e.g., video or sounds) and data logging procedures.

When a design is complete, you can compile it by choosing Run → Generate from the application menu. To execute the experiment, choose Run → Run.

NOTE: Version 2 of E-Studio saves experiment designs using .ES2 files.

Script used by SageCRM, a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution for managing business processes; contains JavaScript-based code and eWare API calls; used to script or install UI customization changes in a SageCRM application.

ES files are typically named "COMPONENT.ES" and are saved in the "\CRM\\inf" directory along with the corresponding .ECF files.
