.HTX File Extension

HTML document that uses the Microsoft Indexing Service; contains code that defines how results from a database should be displayed within a Web page; often created with Microsoft FrontPage Web development software.

HTX files should be saved in the same directory as the corresponding Internet Database Connector (.IDC) file. They will only be processed by a Web server that supports Microsoft Indexing Service.
