.NBF File Extension

Backup of phone data created with Nokia PC Suite; contains the address book, user settings, and other data stored in the cell phone; can be used to restore data or copy information to a new phone.

NOTE: Newer versions of Nokia PC Suite save backups with the .NBU extension.

Archive of files backed up with NTI Backup Now; contains copies of folders and files that can be restored if the original files are damaged or deleted; typically named "backup_001.nbf," "backup_002.nbf," etc.

To restore files with Backup Now, use the "Restore" option within the View panel.
