.QF File Extension

Web page template created with Qompose (pronounced "compose"), an HTML templating language; allows multiple pages to be built from the same basic layout; uses "tokens" to specify different sections of each page.

Published Qompose Web pages also end in ".qf" (rather than ".html"). They are processed by the Qompose CGI script installed on the Web server.

Contains version information and configuration data for Nokia Maps, a mobile phone mapping program; typically stored in the root directory of the phone's memory card.

In general, the Maps QF file should not be modified. However, to uninstall Maps 3.0, the QF file and the "cities" folder may need to be deleted.
