| File Description | ASCII text file that has been created from a binary file using the btoa (Binary to ASCII) algorithm; used for sending binary files over protocols that only support text-based data transfers. The btoa algorithm is similar to the Base64 and Uuencode algorithms, but creates slightly smaller file sizes. Btoa-encoded files often start with the text "xbtoa Begin." |
