.CDB File Extension

Database file created by Symbian OS mobile devices, such as Nokia phones; contains phonebook contacts, including names, addresses, and phone numbers; used to backup and synchronize contacts between a computer and a Symbian OS device.

CDB files are typically found with the name contacts.cdb. They can be converted into vCard .VCF files using Nokisoft Noki.

Database file created by Pocket Access, a relational database program that is similar to regular Microsoft Access, but reduced in complexity for Pocket PC mobile devices; may contain relational database schemas, forms, and reports; used to store Access data on mobile devices.

CDB files can be converted to .MDB files using Microsoft ActiveSync.
