.DAZ File Extension

Three-dimensional scene created by DAZ Studio, a 3D modeling program often used for creating virtual characters; may store a model of a person as well as the surrounding environment; can include poses, animations, wardrobes, and lighting effects; used as the native scene format for DAZ Studio.

DAZ Studio scenes can be exported to a variety of formats, including .BVH, .DAE, .CR2, .FBX, .OBJ, .U3D, and .MDD.

NOTE: DAZ files reference .DSO (DAZ 3D objects), .DSD (morphs), and .DSV (UV map) files. These files are loaded when the scene is loaded.
