.FLG File Extension

File used by IsoPuzzle, a program used to recover data from scratched or incompletely burned CD and DVD disc images; contains a list of good sectors in a corresponding .ISO file; marks recoverable sectors so that they can be reconstructed into a new disc image.

NOTE: IsoPuzzle does not support Audio CDs, VCDs, or SVCDs.

File used by the HP system recovery application that is pre-installed on some HP computers; saved in the C:\System.sav\Flags\ directory and contains flags that tell the installer which information to use when running program functions.

FLG files are not meant to be opened manually. They are referenced by the HP system recovery software.
