.FMELIC File Extension

License file used by FME Desktop, a suite of spatial ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) applications; contains a valid license key for the software; used for registering and activating the software.

FMELIC files are usually retrieved using a link provided by Safe Software after FME Desktop has been downloaded. Safe Software typically sends the download link for the license key via email.

NOTE: FME license files apply to both the trial and purchased versions of FME Desktop.
