File used by Google Drive cloud storage service; created by the Google Drive desktop client and contains a shortcut to a file that is linked to the Google Drive account but is stored in a non-Google Drive cloud location; acts as a shortcut and opens the referenced file in the user's Web browser when double clicked.
GLINK files are stored in the special Google Drive folder after the Google desktop client is installed. The folder automatically synchronizes all shortcuts with the Google Drive account.
NOTE: GLINK files are often used by third-party Drive apps for providing shortcuts to files stored outside of Google Drive.
