.GXT File Extension

File used by Grand Theft Auto (GTA), a game where players steal cars and complete missions; contains text that is displayed during gameplay; often included with GTA mods and may be translated into multiple languages.

GXT files are used in GTA 2 and later. They are typically stored within the \text directory of a GTA installation.

The GXT format supports UTF-16 text encoding.
