.KDS File Extension

Skin file used by KD Player, a music player designed for mobile devices that support Java ME (Micro Edition) technology; saved in plain text and contains layout settings for the visual components; used for styling the player.

Each KDS file is saved in a .ZIP archive with a .KDI file, which stores the graphics for the skin. The KDS file maps segments of the graphics within the corresponding KDI file to user interface buttons, borders, other user interface elements.

NOTE: KDS files can be edited with any text editor.
