Database connection file used by the Hyperion Intelligence database management system (DBMS); defines the connection software, type of database, username, password, host, data retrieval method, and optional database name.
OCE files may be created by selecting Tools→Connection→Create... within the database software; they are saved in the "Open Catalog Extensions" folder by default.
NOTE: OCE files are also supported by Brio Intelligence, which was acquired by Hyperion in 2004; Oracle acquired Hyperion in 2007. |
