What is a PBG file?

File created by Pixel Bender Toolkit, a program used for creating image manipulation filters for programs such as Photoshop, Flash Player, and After Effects; contains a processing graph that includes multiple Pixel Bender kernels (image filters); allows developers to connect multiple kernels into a single processing unit.

More Information

PBG files are saved in an XML format. The source code segments are wrapped by CDATA tags so that the file preserves both the source code and XML formatting.

NOTE: Pixel Bender kernel files use the .PBK extension. PBG files do not contain PBK files, but they contain the plain text kernel source code.
