.PC3 File Extension

File created by AutoCAD, a CAD program used to create 2D and 3D designs; contains plotter properties, such as color depth, media type, and print quality; used to configure specific plotter settings and save them for later use.

PC3 files commonly have corresponding .PMP files, which provide additional plotter calibration information. To create a PC3 file in AutoCAD, select File → Plotter Manager → Add-a-Plotter Wizard.

Image format used by Degas Elite, an image editor for the Atari ST platform; supports 2 colors and an image resolution of 640x400 pixels; can be opened directly on Atari systems using Degas Elite software.

Degas Elite 3 files also use the .PI3 file extension.
