.PL1 File Extension

Building floor plan created with 3D Home Architect Deluxe; includes the first floor layout, as well as objects, such as furniture, lighting, appliances, and window treatments; may also include custom surface materials and colors.

NOTE: PL1 files are used to store the layout of the ground floor or first floor of a home. The second floor layout is stored in a .PL2 file.

Program written in PL/I (Programming Language One), a language designed primarily for data processing applications; supports recursion and structured programming; designed to be highly-structured, yet is also free-form, having no reserved keywords.

PL/I source files also use the .PLI extension.

Plug-in file used by Adventure Maker, a game development environment used to create point-and-click games; contains a group of files that add functionality to Adventure Maker, such as ActiveX controls or more options fpr the Hotspot Properties and Frame Properties windows.

Adventure Maker can be used to create games for Windows, the Sony PlayStation Portable, and the iPod touch.
