GRAPHISOFT Archicad is a building information modeling (BIM) application for designing the appearance of various structures, such as homes, office buildings, and hotels. With the application, you can modify the appearance of the structure's interior, exterior, and landscapes.

Archicad also enables you to work remotely with a team of other users via its BIMcloud storage space. Through BIMcloud, you can create a PLP teamwork project file that each team member can edit. Archicad also allows each user working on the project to optionally save a draft of the teamwork project as a PLC file on their local machine, allowing them to edit the draft, then send it to the teamwork project when ready.

How to create a PLC file with Archicad

To create a PLC file, you must first open the PLP file by selecting File → Open → Open/Join Teamwork Project or Teamwork → Project → Open/Join Teamwork Project. If you have not already, you will be prompted to log in to BIMcloud; then, you can save a draft of the teamwork project as a PLC file to your local machine.
