.QDP File Extension

File used by Quick and Dandy Plotter (QDP), a program used to plot graphs from ASCII text input files; contains plotter coordinates, such as X and Y values; may also include commands to format the output.

QDP files store coordinates that can be plotted on a visual graph when input into the Quick and Dandy Plotter program.

The QDP program was originally developed at the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center.

File used by MPQDraft, an open source program used to modify Blizzard games; contains game modification data used to control game content and create game patches.

QDP files can be embedded into .MPQ files. They are most commonly used to modify StarCraft, a real-time strategy game developed by Blizzard.
