.SC4LOT File Extension

File used by SimCity 4, a city simulation game; stores the location of building and props on a city lot; also includes information about animations and the placement of textures on models; used for storing custom lots that can be played in the game.

SC4LOT files can be placed using the Lot Editor, which is part of the Building Architect Tool suite provided by Electronic Arts. The files must first be packaged into a plug-in using the Plug-in Manager, which is also part of the Building Architect Tool suite.

SC4LOT files are commonly included in .DAT files, which are game archives used by SimCity 4. The building and prop models referenced in SC4LOT files are stored in .SC4MODEL files.
