.VRD File Extension

Defines the parameters of a report created with Microsoft Visio; saved in an XML format; divided into five sections including 1) the title and description, 2) the fields and column headers, 3) information selection filters, 4) record groupings, and 5) a description of how the information is sorted.

NOTE: Visio report definitions can only be opened using the Reporting Tool within Visio. This feature can accessed by selecting Tools→Report.
