What is a VSJ file?
A VSJ file is a 3D model created by ViewSTL, an online application for viewing and inspecting3D models. It contains information about a model, such as the canvas settings, camera position, and object details, in the JSON standard.
More Information
ViewSTL is an online app that allows you to view various 3D models, such as .STL, .OBJ, and .3MF files. Designers, students, hobbyists, and educators may use ViewSTL to ensure that complex 3D designs can be examined from consistent angles or layouts.
The VSJ file type stores information in the JSON standard, whereas the VSB file type stores model information in binary format. To create a VSJ file, select the floppy disk (Save/Download Model) icon, choose the VSJ format, and click SAVE TO LOCAL DEVICE.

How to open a VSJ file
You can open VSJ files with ViewSTL online. To open a VSJ file, select the folder (Open Model) icon.
Since VSJ files store plain text, you can open them with a text editor, such as Microsoft Notepad or Apple TextEdit. However, the files will not appear the same when opened in ViewSTL, and incorrectly editing them may cause them to break.
