GIS file used by AlpineQuest, a mapping and navigation app for Android devices; includes roads, land features, points of interest, and other map information; used for offline navigation, often for hiking, hunting, geocaching, and other outdoor activities.
AQM files can be created with Mobile Atlas Creator (MOBAC) and then uploaded to the Android SD card.
NOTE: The AQM format is an open format whose specification is maintained within the MOBAC SourceForge project. Mobile Atlas Creator was formerly called TrekBuddy Atlas Creator.
