.DMC File Extension

Document file created Datamartist, a data profiling tool used to analyze, combine, and manage data from multiple sources; can contain internal data sets as well as data transformation specifications in the form of transform blocks and connections between them.

Data sets internal to the DMC file are limited to 250,000 values per dataset. Therefore, they are suitable for small to moderate-size datasets and are often used for generating reference datasets for testing. Larger datasets can be referenced within the DMC file and are stored in separate local cache and index files for faster access and offline access.

Datamartist can manage data from Microsoft SQL Server databases, Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Access databases, DMC files, and other sources.
