Template for creating multiple Web pages in Dreamweaver, a popular Web development program; editable regions within the template can be defined by the user; changes to the non-editable regions within the template affect all pages designed from the template.

Dreamweaver was originally developed by Macromedia. Adobe acquired Macromedia in 2005 and the program is now developed and distributed by Adobe.

Template created by AutoCAD, a CAD productivity program used for developing 2D and 3D designs; contains default drawing settings, including unit types and precision, title blocks, layer names, linetypes, and snap and grid drawing properties; used for developing multiple .DWG drawings that use the same conventions and settings.

AutoCAD 2011 provides several default templates, which are located in a hidden installation directory named \UserDataCache\Template\.
