Contains the formatting information or structure data for a MySQL database; specifies the tables stored in the database and defines the fields and structure of each table.
FRM files are saved along with an .MYD file, which contains the actual data stored in the database. Both files are necessary for MySQL to recognize the database. If the MySQL database uses MyISAM tables, an .MYI file is also used and required.
Frame stack created by Corel Painter, a digital painting application; stores a series of frames, including the width, height, resolution, and color depth of the frames; used to create animations of paintings.
To create a FRM file, select File → New... and choose the "Movie With" option. A Frame Stacks floating palette will appear, which can be used to navigate between the frames and to preview the animation.
FRM files can be exported to QuickTime movies (.MOV files) as well as animated .GIF files.
