| File Description | Adobe Type 1 font for Windows; similar to a .PFA file, but has been encoded in binary format; requires the associated .PFM file as well; both the PFB and PFM files should be stored within the system Fonts folder in order to be active. In addition to storing system fonts, PFB files are also used by AutoCAD for creating compiled .SHX font files. |
