Encrypted file used to "flash" the firmware of a Motorola cell phone, such as as a Razr or Rokr; often used for customizing or "modding" the interface of Motorola cell phones.

To flash the memory of a cell phone, you must connect the phone to a PC via USB and run a program like PST or RSD, which can open the flash superfile.

SHX files are based on the .HS flex file format.

Compiled shape file created by AutoCAD, a 2D and 3D design and engineering application; may contain shape definitions as well as font definitions for displaying custom text; supports many Type 1 PostScript fonts; used for storing smaller building blocks and fonts that are frequently inserted in drawings.

SHX files can be compiled from both .SHP shape files and .PFB font files. After compilation, the resulting SHX file can be inserted into a drawing, and the user can specify the location, scale, and rotation of the imported shape.
