.PRJ File Extension

Generic project file extension used by multiple programs; typically saves project data and settings and may include references to other files used by the project.

The programs listed below are applications that save projects with ".prj" extensions and are not guaranteed to open all PRJ files. Therefore, the following list of programs should serve as a reference of possible file associations for PRJ files.

AIMMS (Advanced Integrated Multidimensional Modeling Software) project file; contains information for developing operations models; includes project settings and user-interface components such as menus and end-user pages.

An associated AIMMS model (.AMB) file is saved along with each project file.
