.PSA File Extension

Catalog of digital photos created with Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements; organizes images into different collections, which may include multiple albums; formatted as a Microsoft Jet Engine database.

Photoshop Album stores PSA files in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Album\Catalogs."

The Photoshop Elements 3.0 Organizer stores PSA files in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Catalogs."

NOTE: PSA files were used up through Photoshop Elements 5.0. They can be converted to the newer file format in versions 6.0 and 7.0.

File used by the Unreal Engine, a 3D gaming engine used to develop first-person shooter games such as Unreal Tournament; contains 3D model animation settings for a .PSK file; used by the Unreal Engine to animate imported 3D models.
